I've got wonderful news for you: Your poems shall be set to music.
About Lisann's music...
All of her songs deal with very personal issues and result from indiviual meetings and experiences. The topics, however, are present and universal and her own vulnerability leads to feelings of accessibility and belonging together, which are especially perceptible at live events. Lisann's songs in general are very versatile and handle topics that range from thoughts about life and the world to love and personal stories. Everyone can relate to the lyrics although they seem as individual as it was made for each soul itself. The artist's special, warm, vulnerable, though cool voice manages to touch the audience's hearts in an entertaining as well as inspiring way. In her opinion, the most important function of music is to have a message. Messages that don't charge the person but that change the world in a positive manner, as far as possible.
Many of those who have seen her performing live said that they sensed her acting experience. Contrary to Lisann's genuine and natural appearance she likes to reminisce old times and take people back to where her feelings have their origin.
Her concerts are not only places of unity but also possibilities to show humanity and to create an environment where everyone feels safe and part of something. Music should be a space of withdrawal from problems of everyday life and so strong that all the positive feelings remain as long as it's tunes remain in your heart.
(originally German, meaning: what causes my inner pain is not the obvious, it's the world pretending like everything is fine without its really like this)
Mal drüber Deine Farben, mal alle Sorgen klein
Erbau sie ohne Trümmer, mach’ Deine Welt ganz fein
(originally German, meaning: all things are passing, so take extra care of the things you own)
(orginally German, meaning: I always try to forget our painful past, but whenever when I am close to it, another red flag pops up and leads me back in time)
“My shoes”:
You don’t have my shoes, the moon is rising higher
I’m dancing to the blues
I was just a fool, my heart wants on a journey
but I am out of fuel
